YogyaTrack

Privacy Policy

YogyaTrack is built to need as little personal data as possible. This page explains what we handle and why.

Last updated: 3 November 2026

In short

  • No accounts and no ads. We use Google Analytics to count visits, which sets cookies.
  • What you type into the eligibility checker is processed in your browser and is not sent to us or saved.
  • Saved jobs and your document checklist ticks stay in your browser only.
  • Our server keeps standard access logs for security and fixing errors.
  • We do not sell or share your data for advertising.

1. Who we are

YogyaTrack (“we”, “us”) runs this website, which lists government job notifications in India. For anything about your data, write to YogyaTrack@codewing.app.

2. What information we handle

  • Server access logs. When you visit, our web server automatically records your IP address, the page requested, date and time, response status, browser and device type (user agent) and the referring page. We use this to keep the site secure, prevent abuse and fix errors.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. Please do not send identity documents, certificates or other sensitive information.
  • Eligibility checker. The date of birth, category and qualification you enter are used only inside your browser to produce a result. They are not transmitted to our server and are not stored, even in your browser.
  • Visit statistics (Google Analytics). We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where from. It records an anonymised usage profile through cookies (such as _ga), your browser and device type, approximate location and the pages you view. We use it only to improve the site.
  • Saved jobs and document checklist. If you use the bookmark button or the document checklist, the list is stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. We cannot see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.

3. What we do not do

  • We do not ask you to create an account or give your name, phone number or caste certificate details.
  • We do not show ads, and we do not use the statistics for advertising or to identify you personally.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.

4. Why we use this information

We use server logs for security, preventing abuse and keeping the site working. We use messages you send us to reply to you and to correct errors. We process this data on the basis of your consent (for example when you email us) and for legitimate uses permitted by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), such as securing the service.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga and _ga_*) to tell visits apart. You can refuse or delete them in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on, and the site will keep working. Apart from that we use your browser’s local storage only for the saved-jobs list and the document checklist described above, which stay on your device and are not read by us.

6. Hosting and sharing

The site is hosted on cloud infrastructure, and the hosting provider processes server logs on our behalf. Google LLC provides Google Analytics and processes visit statistics for us under its own terms; this can involve transfer of data outside India. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the site from attacks or abuse. Pages link to official recruitment websites; when you follow those links you leave our site and the other site’s privacy policy applies.

7. How long we keep data

Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account. Server logs are kept for a limited period, normally no longer than about three months, and are then deleted or rotated out. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up, and are then deleted.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect the systems that hold our logs. No online service can promise absolute security.

9. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

  • get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • ask us to correct or complete personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to erase personal data that we no longer need;
  • withdraw consent you have given us;
  • have a grievance addressed, and nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to act.

To use any of these rights, email YogyaTrack@codewing.app from the address you want us to look up. We may need to confirm it is you. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is established.

10. Children

This site is for people looking for government jobs and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, for example if we add accounts or job alerts. We will explain what is collected and why before we start collecting it. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.

12. Grievances and contact

Questions, requests or complaints about your data: YogyaTrack@codewing.app. We will acknowledge and resolve grievances within the time required by law. See also our Terms of Use and Disclaimer.
